Andrea Greve

You can find me with a coffee in my hand, that has been warmed up at least twice already, gushing over dog pics, and grabbing the trendiest pieces of clothing for someone to try on.

I didn’t always picture myself to be in retail industry, but after 12 years of being in the retail world I have come to realize in this moment, this is where I am suppose to be. My passion for serving and styling people has grown so much more than I could imagine. Customer service is not a walk in the park kind of job, it’s a new challenge everyday. But I believe to continually have a challenge in life is the best way to gain experience and grow to be the best version of yourself.

“You always do this to me”, a typical saying I hear quite often from the regular shoppers that come in the store to shop as they end up finding too many affordable pieces to purchase. I like to blame it on the PRIMP owners for selecting the trendiest pieces, yet the most versatile basics for women. You know that feeling when you find something that fits so perfectly & you end up doing some sort of happy dance (I know we have all done it, at least in the fitting room), that is the most rewarding part of what I do. It feels so gratifying to be able to help the customers feel and look their best.

Our team is always remerchandising the racks, the tables, and also selecting the best outfits for the customer per their needs, or to their wants but “don’t need” as they typically say. Our team has been together for close to a year now. We have learned each other’s way of how we work, each other’s styles, and most importantly we have learned how to hold each other accountable to not break our banks with every item we want to purchase for ourselves. We all love our coffee, sharing new ideas, talking about our dreams, and talking about trips we want to take. I love that our team is always complimenting each other and is ALWAYS so positive, I am so grateful to be part of PRIMP.

I’ve always loved being a city girl and dreamed to live in New York City one day, so it’s easy for me to love the downtown atmosphere. I love watching the charm of downtown continue to grow and impress the out of towners that don’t expect the fun local shops and restaurants that you see walking down Phillips avenue. Working in the heart of downtown has been everything, plus more than what I had expected. If you don’t see me downtown, you will more than likely find my fiance and I at Old Chicago, I have been ordering the same thing since 1999- kidding, kind of. You’ll see that I love my fur baby, I adore her presence and cuddling her more than anything. You would find me at Barre3, finding ways to become stronger and more balanced, thanks to a push from a friend, now I'm addicted. If I’m not annoyingly cuddling my dog, I’m probably trying to refurbish my house with painting the rooms and buying all the things at Home Goods and Hobby Lobby.

The quote “Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and the thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself” (Edmund Lee) describes my last few years perfectly with the beautiful ladies I get to work and be with every day.
